Ordered this battery for the Canon HF100 prior to a long trip and it's simply amazing. It lasted for 5 hours of recording including reviewing and taking still pictures.The vidcam is coupled to a Class 6 SDHC 32GB and is an ideal combination to take HD video with this battery. The battery does stick out but it's also functional when you're taking videos out from eye level...something to hold..
